I’m still buzzing from The International Franchise show in London earlier this month. 11,000 people in attendance, with more than 1000 of them coming to our stand to sign up for more info about joining a franchise…

This year’s show was by far the biggest and most well attended event I’ve been to in the last 10 years. After everything that’s happened in that time, especially since 2020, it’s been hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes, hasn’t it? If you think back to everything we’ve been through – Brexit (whatever your opinion on that, it was still the biggest economic change in a generation), COVID, war in Europe, the cost of living crisis – it’s no wonder many of us have felt like we’ve been stuck in a bit of a doom loop lately!

We’ve seen the signs for a little while, but the sheer size and enthusiasm of this last weekend is proof things are starting to change for the better.

It’s too early to say we’re turning a corner, but there are green shoots everywhere. Franchising is very much back on the table as an option for many people – not just for those who see it as a route to business ownership themselves, but also for all those businesses who see this rise in interest and are considering becoming a franchise themselves.

We took part in 3 educational seminars, had hundreds of fascinating discussions, and I took the details of dozens of businesses interested in franchising. There was one big question that came up time and time again:

Is my business ready to franchise?

A simple question, but rarely one with a simple answer! What I can tell you is that this is a great time to at least be thinking about it, especially as we can expect a lot of other businesses to want to get in on the action in the coming months. Right now, I’ve got a lot of availability on my calendar, but given the numbers of people I will be following up with from the show, it’s going to start filling up fast.

So, if you’re one of the many people who came to me with this question at Excel last week, here’s how you can find out more: visit www.franchisemybusiness.co for an overview, download our free e-book, or schedule in a time for a friendly, no obligation chat by clicking the button below.

Likewise, if you weren’t there but are interested in the answer to this question – or how you can take the next steps in franchising – then please do also schedule a call using the button below.

I look forward to hearing from you!
