Did you see the news we put recently about The Franchising Centre’s acquisition of the Access4Lofts franchise?

I’m sure you’ve been busy, but this story has caused quite the stir. Access4Lofts has always been one our most successful development and recruitment clients and, when the owners announce they were planning to retire and sell up, we decided to step in ourselves. Basically, we’ve made the unprecedented move from franchise consultants to becoming franchisors ourselves.

How did that happen?!?

Access4Lofts first approached us back in late 2019. They were already operating as a franchise and had taken on a handful of partners, but had found their growth had stalled. Not only that, but they had also found growing further than they already had required a lot more time and resources then they could manage alone.

They asked us to step in and conduct a thorough audit of their current operations, and where they wanted to be, and to use that info to put together a Franchise Business Blueprint.

As is standard practice at TFC when approached by a new client, planning and analysis did not rely on just one person within the firm, but called upon the skills and experience of a whole set of franchising experts who could contribute at different stages during the process. We very quickly returned to the franchisors with a development and recruitment plan that could serve as a road map for the franchise’s future.

By outsourcing much of their recruitment and marketing to the TFC team, they could focus on the core business comfortable in the knowledge that their growth as a franchise could continue in a sustainable and scalable way.

The initial plan included a 3 year growth strategy with measurable performance and return on investment as well as a clear set of detailed goals, objectives and exactly how they could be achieved.

The Results

I am very proud to say that everyone here at The Franchising Centre really excelled themselves. Despite a massive bump in the road courtesy of a global pandemic, we were able to grow their network to cover a whopping 97 territories, and equip them with all the framework and infrastructure to manage their growing network.

Not only that, but we were able to increase their annual turnover to more than £15million!

We were able to achieve so much with their franchise, that even we were left wanting to buy it!
